Armors that devote Guild Wars gods
We could make a few armors, which would have a specific, unique look, and would be recognizable as an armor of an apprentice, or knight etc, of a certain god.
Those would include
- Balthazar's armor
- Dwayna's armor
- Grenth's armor
- Melandru's armor
- Lyssa's armor
Those could be either assigned to each class*, or it could be assigned to all classes**.
* This way, Balthazar's armor would be assigned to warriors and elementalists, Dwayna's to monks, Grenth's to Ritualists and Necromancers, Melandru's to Rangers, and Lyssa's to Mesmers and Assassins. This of course, is just a simplified idea how it could be assigned.
** I'm more after this one, however, it would take much more time of Anet to make those.
/signs are welcome.

I like the idea, I just wonder what the price level would be?

If, as I think, anet is preparing to introduce realms of melandru, lyssa and dwayna, they would be some kind of fow armor to show that the bearer is one one of the god's chosen and bla bla bla.

I would think that one of the later chapters will have something to do with the gods i.e. help them, and thus get armour there.

As long as they aren't Fuber, I will sign.
Aquisition would also have to be sorted out, I would imagine it would be more complex than simply being rich.

Make them like the Fissure of Woe (Balthazar's Armour) is done. With identical looks regardless of what mods you select for each profession.

That's how it is with all Canthan armors and I would imagine that is how armor be from now on.

/signed, but...
Make them patron specific. Balthazar's Fire Mage armor would only be able to get armor that protects against fire and water, for instance, and not against air or earth. Also, since they like to add attributes to new armors it seems, maybe make Balthazar's Fire Mage Armor +1 Fire Magic while casting spells (20%) (non-stacking, and must have entire set to work).
Anyway, good idea. I'm a little disappointed there is little being done with the gods. I'll be sad if when GW is over with there isn't atleast an expansion devoted entirely to the gods. Factions has, what, 3-4 people dealing with A god (Grenth, the escorts to the underworld)? Amazing... glad they put up statues at the rez shrines else I wouldn't even know there were gods.
